Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by Marquee XP (Marquee Experiences). By confirming an event booking or engaging our services, the client agrees to these terms.

Booking and Acceptance

All event bookings must be confirmed through a written agreement, proposal approval, or booking confirmation shared by Marquee XP.

Acceptance of the proposal, whether via email, signed document, or payment, constitutes agreement to these Terms and Conditions.

Payment Terms

  • Payment schedules will be outlined in the event proposal or agreement
  • Unless otherwise agreed, full payment must be completed prior to the event date
  • Payments may be made via bank transfer or other agreed methods

Marquee XP reserves the right to pause or cancel services if payments are not received as per agreed timelines.

Scope and Inclusions

The scope of services, including event design, management, vendor coordination, and deliverables, will be defined in the approved proposal.

Any additional requirements or changes beyond the agreed scope may result in revised costs.

Changes and Substitutions

Marquee XP reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to event elements where necessary, including substitution of vendors, venues, or activities, due to availability or circumstances beyond its control.

All efforts will be made to maintain the intended quality and experience.

Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information required for planning
  • Share timely approvals, feedback, and materials
  • Ensure necessary permissions, licenses, or internal approvals are obtained
  • Adhere to agreed payment timelines

Delays or omissions may affect execution and timelines.

Participant Conduct

Marquee XP reserves the right to restrict or remove any participant whose behavior may pose a risk to safety, disrupt the event, or violate applicable laws.

No refunds will be provided in such cases.

Authority During Events

The client acknowledges that Marquee XP’s event managers and coordinators have the authority to make on-site decisions in the interests of safety, logistics, and smooth execution.

Changes to Event Date

Requests to reschedule an event will be accommodated where possible.

  • Rescheduling may involve additional costs depending on vendor commitments
  • Changes requested close to the event date may not be feasible

All rescheduling is subject to availability and mutual agreement.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation by the client:

  • Cancellation charges may apply based on the timeline and commitments made
  • Costs already incurred with vendors, venues, or third parties may be non-refundable
  • Final cancellation terms may be specified in the event proposal or agreement

Change in Number of Attendees

  • Reductions in confirmed attendee numbers may not result in a refund, particularly close to the event date
  • Where possible, adjustments may be made if changes are communicated well in advance
  • Vendor-related costs may still apply based on prior commitments

Third-Party Services

Marquee XP engages third-party vendors such as venues, caterers, and technical providers.

While we coordinate these services:

  • Such vendors operate independently
  • Marquee XP is not liable for delays, failures, or deficiencies caused by third parties

Force Majeure

Marquee XP shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Public health situations
  • Strikes or unforeseen disruptions

In such cases, both parties will work towards rescheduling or alternative arrangements where feasible.

Weather Conditions

For outdoor events, Marquee XP will make reasonable arrangements to mitigate weather-related disruptions.

If conditions are deemed unsafe, the event may be postponed or modified in consultation with the client.

Liability for Damage

The client shall be responsible for any damage to or loss of equipment, property, or assets arranged for the event caused by attendees.

Liability may be limited to the extent covered under applicable insurance terms.

Intellectual Property and Media

All event concepts, designs, and materials developed by Marquee XP remain its intellectual property unless otherwise agreed.

Marquee XP may capture photographs or videos during events for documentation and promotional use.

Clients and participants grant permission for such use unless otherwise communicated in advance.

Limitation of Liability

Marquee XP will take all reasonable steps to deliver services as planned. However:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
  • We are not responsible for disruptions caused by external or third-party factors
  • Liability, if any, shall be limited to the fees paid for the specific event

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore.
